  • ISLM-I 401 Regional and Thematic Issues in Islamic Studies (3 cr.) Selected special topics in Islamic studies that focus on a specific region or on a thematic issue across multiple regions. May be repeated with a different topic for a maximum of 12 credit hours.
  • ISLM-X 373 Internship in Islamic Studies (1–3 cr.) P: Consent of Director of Undergraduate Studies; or program Director and faculty advisor. Provides academic credit and structure for an internship experience within the U.S. or overseas and allows students to connect classroom knowledge to skills in the workplace. May be repeated for a maximum of 6 credit hours. S/F grading.
  • ISLM-X 490 Individual Readings in Islamic Studies (1–4 cr.) P: Consent of instructor and director. Individualized directed readings or research on an advanced or specialized topic in Islamic Studies. May be repeated for a maximum of 6 credit hours.
