Race, Migration, and Indigeneity Program

About the Race, Migration, and Indigeneity Program

The Program in Race, Migration, and Indigeneity (RMI) is a multi-disciplinary unit that investigates the complex problems of race, human movement across borders, and power relationships. RMI seeks to bring together faculty and students who study race/ethnicity, migration, and indigeneity in intersectional or relational ways, and who work to cross-pollinate ideas among various fields of inquiry. We also seek to engage students and the wider public to understand diversity—broadly defined—and the consequences of disparities and inequities, past and present.
