Intensive Writing by Special Arrangement

Most students will satisfy the CASE Intensive Writing requirement by enrolling in and successfully completing an approved CASE Intensive Writing section of a course. Students, however, may elect to petition to fulfill the requirement by special arrangement with written permission from the College of Arts and Sciences.

The student, instructor, and course must meet certain criteria and conditions in order for a proposal to be considered. This includes the student having completed the CASE Foundations: English Composition requirement prior to submitting an Intensive by Special Arrangement proposal.
