Minor in Sociology (SOCMIN)Department of Sociology

Students on Summer 2018, Fall 2018, or Spring 2019 requirements.

Description

The Minor in Sociology can equip students with the tools necessary to perform in the fields of business, healthcare, and law. Students choose from a set of upper-level courses that can target any of these areas. For example, courses like "Mental Illness" prepare students to recognize these challenges and work with vulnerable populations. When taken in combination with our statistics courses, the Sociology minor makes undergraduates more competitive in the graduate school application process as well as jobs at the upper-managerial level.
