Researching and writing a departmental honors thesis offers high-achieving students a way to deepen their command of an area of interest. Completing an honors thesis is a particularly good exercise if you are considering graduate school.

Many students choose projects with both an academic and a creative component, such as a research paper coupled with a dance performance.
