  • New course!CLLC-L 101 Spring Break for Kids (2 cr.) Discusses the resourcefulness and resilience of children dealing with the trauma of domestic violence. Partners with The RISE!, a transitional housing shelter for victims of domestic violence, for a spring break experience in which students can turn their knowledge from the course into action.
  • New course!CLLC-L 102 Edible Wild Plants (1 cr.) Using the fields and forests of Bloomington as a classroom, students spend time outdoors observing, learning, drawing, collecting, and tasting edible wild plants. Students will discover where edible wild plants are growing and learn how to collect and use them in recipes as they assess sustainable practices. May be repeated for a maximum of 2 credit hours.
