Department of English

The Department of English (ENG) offers courses in rhetoric, composition, creative writing, and literature, and teaches numerous approaches to textual analysis. Classes may focus on poetry, fiction, film, social movements, the rhetoric of science or politics, debate, major authors, narrative theory, young adult literature, science fiction, and so on. Students may focus their interests on creative writing, communication and public advocacy, literary interpretation, or a particular career path through a concentration or minor.
