Requirements
- Capstone Seminar. One (1) semester, focused on writing the thesis, completed with a grade of A- or higher:

- Prerequisites
- CEUS major; senior standing; and consent of supervising faculty
- Description
- Requires the preparation of an original thesis or research project that brings together the student's interests, region, and language of specialization and demonstrates accumulated training in the field. The project must be produced under the supervision of a faculty member.
- Honors Thesis. Complete and defend an honors thesis based on independent research.
- Major GPA. A Central Eurasian Studies major grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.500 is required.
- College GPA. A College grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.300 is required.
Exceptions to and substitutions for honors requirements may be made with the approval of the unit's Director of Undergraduate Studies, subject to final approval by the College of Arts and Sciences.
