Bachelor of Arts in Classical Civilization
Students on Summer 2024, Fall 2024, or Spring 2025 requirements CLCVBA
The Bachelor of Arts in Classical Civilization offers students with little or no knowledge of the Greek and Latin languages the opportunity to explore either the art and archaeology or culture and literature of ancient Greece and Rome. It is a flexible major that allows students to study many aspects of ancient Greece and Rome and to compare them to other cultures, both ancient and modern. Students majoring in classical civilization may take courses in Greek and Latin languages or they may choose to take courses that present the material entirely in English translation.
