4+1 College Pathway to the Master of Arts in Latin American and Caribbean Studies
Students on Summer 2024, Fall 2024, or Spring 2025 requirements LTAM-PATH
Requirements
Students must satisfy all requirements for a baccalaureate degree in the College of Arts Sciences. While graduate courses are typically taken before completion of the baccalaureate degree, they cannot be applied to both the graduate and undergraduate degree. The courses will apply to the graduate degree once the baccalaureate degree has been conferred. Students must also satisfy all the University Graduate School's requirements for the Master of Arts in Latin American and Caribbean Studies.
Students interested in pursuing the 4+1 College Pathway to the Master of Arts in Latin American and Caribbean Studies must meet the following requirements:
- Maintain a minimum overall GPA of at least 3.000.
- Complete between 30 and 59 credit hours toward an undergraduate degree.
- Complete at least 12 credit hours toward their undergraduate major.
- Submit an application, which includes
- 1-2 page statement of interest
- 2 letters of recommendation
- Official academic transcripts
