Minor in Creative Technologies in Art + Design (Minors)

Students on Summer 2019, Fall 2019, or Spring 2020 requirements CTADSGNMIN

The Minor in Creative Technologies in Art and Design teaches students the process of idea development in art and design through the use of digital technologies and electronic visualization. The minor introduces a wide range of new media art and design practices and digital platforms in which to explore materializing digital designs through various computer-aided design and computation design software, computer-aided machining and rapid prototyping. In addition to the production of physical objects, these processes can lead to the development of digital drawings and paintings, video art, virtual reality and immersive installations created through digital projection, 3D display systems, interactive artwork, and artwork created by coding.
