Minor in Fashion Design (Minors)
The Fashion Design minor serves students seeking an introduction to fashion design, fashion studios, and dress studies, especially as a complement to degrees in merchandising, business, art, theatre, or other arts and humanities. As with the full BA degree, coursework for the minor starts with a base in materials/textiles and an introduction to art and design, with 2 studios that concentrate on traditional and experimental techniques in illustration and construction, as well as a course in fashion history and electives in various dress studies topics.
