Entering the College
Current IUB students
Current Indiana University Bloomington students admitted in degree-seeking status may enter the College if they meet the College's Entrance Requirements.
- Students in dismissal status must petition to enter the College
- Students seeking to pursue a second degree in the College must complete the concurrent second degree application
- Students whose academic home was University Division and last enrolled prior to Spring 2024 should contact the Student Records and Services division of the Office of Undergraduate Curriculum, Policy, and Records to request that their record be changed to a College of Arts and Sciences degree record; students in this situation may be required to take additional steps
- All other students should contact an academic advisor in their intended major to request a school change
Returning IUB students
Students admitted in degree-seeking status who have been away from Indiana University and did not enroll in the most recent Fall or Spring academic term should contact the Student Records and Services division of the Office of Undergraduate Curriculum, Policy, and Records for helping determining what steps should be taken to enter the College.
Prospective students
Students who seek admission to IU Bloomington as first-year beginner (freshman) or transfer must apply through the Office of Admissions. The College's website contains additional information about how to apply to Indiana University Bloomington.
