Graduation deadlines and milestones for Fall 2025
College students who wish to graduate at the conclusion of the selected term must complete the relevant tasks by the date indicated. Unless indicated otherwise, deadlines are 5 p.m. Eastern (Bloomington, IN) Time.

| May 1, 2025 | Graduation Application Priority Deadline | Students who intend to graduate for the selected term should complete the College's Graduation Application by this date. Students who are seeking any degrees or certificates outside of the College should contact the school to apply for graduation there as well. |
General deadlines for Fall 2025

| July 1, 2025 | Sequential Second Degree Application Deadline - IU alumni | Students who already hold a bachelor's degree from IU and seek admission to pursue a second bachelor's degree beginning Fall 2025 must apply by this date. Graduation deadlines and milestones for Fall 2025
College students who wish to graduate at the conclusion of the selected term must complete the relevant tasks by the date indicated. Unless indicated otherwise, deadlines are 5 p.m. Eastern (Bloomington, IN) Time.

| September 18, 2025 | Commencement Program | Students must apply to graduate by this date in order to be included in the Spring 2025 Commencement program. |
| December 19, 2025 | Commencement | The IUB Undergradaute Commencement Ceremony takes place on this date. See the IUB Commencement website for details. |
| December 24, 2025 | Grade Replacement | Students who intend to apply the Grade Replacement (formerly Extended-X) policy on a repeated course must submit the appropriate petition(s) by this date. |
| January 15, 2026 | All Grades on the IU Transcript | Students who intend to graduate for the current term must have all grades recorded on their IU transcript by this date. This includes grades for the most recent semester (IUB or another campus), courses where incompletes were awarded, and all transfer coursework. |
| January 24, 2026 | Transcripts with Degree(s) | Transcripts with degree conferral information recorded will be available on this date. |
Distinction criteria for Fall 2025
The College GPA requirements to earn disctinction are set once a year (usually by September) for students graduating in the upcoming Fall, Spring, or Summer academic terms. The GPA ranges for the selected term are list below. College students who meet the requirements as listed in the College's Degrees Awarded with Distinction policy will earn their degree(s) with the distinction level indicated.
